Bossard has bolstered its presence in the aerospace sector with AS9120 Aerospace Certification in Italy.
AS9120 is a prerequisite for working as a supplier in the sector and the official approval means Bossard is now active in aerospace in Italy, the USA, France and Switzerland. Italy is the fourth most significant player in aerospace in Europe, said Bossard.
The Group has been building its expertise in the demanding sector with acquisitions in recent years and is planning to strengthen its presence still further.
Bossard said: “Drawing on Bossard’s proven competence and strength of innovation in fastening technology, it can meet the special requirements of customers in the aerospace industry at all levels.”
The Group recently posted record results for the 2018 financial year, with America and Asia putting in an unexpectedly strong performance.
