Paul Swift has been appointed Managing Director of ForgeFix, the fixings and fasteners distributor which supplies over 5,000 products lines to a network of national and independent retailers and merchants throughout the UK & Europe.
Swift joins from Tyman PLC, one of the leading global players in window and door hardware manufacture, where he was Head of Sales at Zoo Hardware.
He said: “I am extremely excited to have been appointed as the Managing Director of ForgeFix, with its very successful record of developing strong brands within the fixings and construction market and I want to build on this.
“In this ever-competitive market, the ability to develop and bring to market new products as quickly as possible is key and Forgefix has always done this well.”

“As we come out of the Covid pandemic, we need to learn from the many new ways we have found to work, as well as consider the changes in customer buying habits and patterns. IT systems will be central to this and we plan to invest in new systems and ways of interacting with our customers.”

Over the last 18 months it has also launched the successful Spectre brand of timber screw and specialist brand CorePlus, a range of Diamond Blades, Hole Saws and Tile Drill Bits.
