Makita has launched a range of seven new types of gloves to enable end users to match the glove spec with the job in hand.
Makita High Performance Gloves aim to match the performance of its tools in areas like comfort, fit and dexterity, to protection and durability for harsh job site conditions. Aimed at professionals, Makita High Performance Gloves have the right fit for the job, wherever the job takes you.
Makita set out to develop its range of high-performance hand protection gloves based on clearly defined abrasion, cut, impact, and puncture performance property standards. Operating in the United States of America, Makita designed and built its range based on the American National Standards Institute/International Safety Equipment Association (ANSI/ISEA) 105-2016 American National Standard for Hand Protection Classification. This is a voluntary standard from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), who oversees standards and conformity assessment activities in the United States. When choosing the right glove for your needs, these ratings will allow you to compare performance levels between gloves
