“It’s a necessary and strategic move for further growth and support, and one that we have been exploring for several months,” said Scott Halfhill, Jergens International Director. “The time was right, and we were impressed with Spencer’s experience, both technically and commercially, Spencer certainly has the key skills to establish Jergens in the European market.”
“I am really enthusiastic about being a part of the Jergens organisation and this new opportunity to establish and grow our business here in the UK & Europe,” said Spencer. “As we have customer relationships here, we feel it is a must to have local presence with technical and commercial support and available products within the EU to meet the growing needs.”
Prior to joining Jergens, Spencer was involved with business development, product management, manufacturing and engineering with Clarendon Specialty Fasteners. Before that, he was the sales director for Mold Systems, a tool manufacturer of injection molds for automotive and medical component manufacturing customers.
