Builders merchant Isaac Lord has recently opened an in-store point of sale area designed to show off Carhartt’s tough, rugged and authentic workwear collection.
Both Carhartt and Isaac Lord were founded in the late 19th Century and have a history of serving the construction industry. Carhartt was established in 1889 in Detroit, Michigan, USA and has been known for its rugged construction, innovative designs, quality standards, durability and comfort. Isaac Lord Ltd first opened in High Wycombe in 1892 with the intention to supply the growing furniture-making industry in the local district and is trusted by the trade throughout the area to this day.
“We are delighted that Isaac Lord has created this space in store, as it generates real excitement around the clothing,” says Nick Poulson, UK Country Manager. “It really shows that with our workwear you can protect yourself and still look great on site - and when it’s time to go home and relax it’s perfect too. The in-store display lets customers feel the quality of the clothing and make that purchase.”
Isaac Lord’s use of Carhartt point of sale is an example of how the workwear manufacturer is increasing its focus in the United Kingdom and supporting its merchant partners. The UK focus has also seen the opening of an office in Nottinghamshire, and a UK field sales team tasked with growing the number of Carhartt stockists.
