Adhesives company H.B. Fuller has introduced a new roofing adhesive designed to help users meet environmental standards.
The H.B. Fuller Millennium PG-1 EF ECO2 eliminates the need for chemical blowing agents by utilising naturally occurring atmospheric gases. This two-part, low-rise foam adhesive combines Part A and Part B, dispensed through two canisters, and features a unique spray nozzle that seamlessly switches between ribbon and spatter spray. This versatility allows for the installation of both insulation boards and fleece-backed roofing membranes with a single, easy-to-use, and transportable product.
Powered by ECO2 Driven™ technology, this advanced adhesive operates without high Global Warming Potential (GWP) propellants or Hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs), reducing environmental impact while maintaining strong adhesion.
Designed to meet or exceed current North American environmental standards and align with emerging global regulations for commercial roofing, Millennium PG-1 EF ECO2 supports sustainability goals without compromising performance. Canister-based adhesives help minimise job site waste by offering extensive coverage per unit and, when properly emptied, can be recycled in accordance with local regulations.
Additional benefits of Millennium PG-1 EF ECO2 include the elimination of thermal bridging, a common issue with mechanically fastened roofing membranes. The adhesive also delivers high wind uplift resistance and reduces the risk of leaks and structural damage during re-roofing projects.
