The fischer Group of Companies has announced a plan to expand its fixing systems division.
The company sold fischer Automotive in April 2024. After the transaction, fischer started investing in the former fischer Automotive site in Horb, expanding the fischer Fixing Systems division with renovation and maintenance of existing structures and fire protection systems.
Aside from the expansion, fischer announced that its revenue for the 2024 financial year reached €1.11 billion, representing a 1% increase. Although economic conditions in Europe remained challenging, the Indian, Middle Eastern and South American markets recorded solid growth.
Other highlights of fischer in 2024 included the acquisition of mobile robotic solutions company BauBot, aiming to strengthen robotics applications on construction sites.
It also won the Global Excellence in Operations (GEO) Award category in the Factory of the Year competition for its production plant in Ivanovice na Hané in the Czech Republic. The win coincided with the site’s 30th anniversary.
Meanwhile, former football manager Jürgen Klopp agreed to remain as the company’s brand ambassador.
