Bond It achieves carbon neutral status

UK sealants, adhesives and building chemicals Bond It has been certified as carbon neutral.

To achieve the net zero status, Bond It partnered with Carbon Neutral Britain™, which helped the company offset the unavoidable carbon emissions produced by its operations with investments in verified and assured carbon sequestration and reduction projects around the world.

These projects included tree planting initiatives and using renewable energy in its operations, including electricity generated by solar panels on its own factory roof.

Aside from these measures, Bond It will continue investing in more energy- and material-efficient production technology, reducing packaging, increasing its recyclability and using post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials.

The manufacturer actively manages waste streams to maximise recycling and minimise landfill disposal. It also regularly reviews product formulations to reduce environmental impact and health risks.

Dean Morgan, Managing Director at Bond It, commented: “Bond It remains committed to achieving ever greater levels of circularity and sustainability. This commitment stems not only from our belief in the highest standards of corporate social responsibility but also our desire to offer our customers greater accountability and transparency.”
