Spanish company Index has expanded its range of products from the polyurethane foam family. The expansion features a new polyurethane adhesive suitable for the installation of ETICS plates (Pu-EP), new nozzle formats for the Tile (PU-TC) and Firestop (PU-FC) versions, as well as the new Ecoflex nozzle.
The new Sate/ ETICS PU-EO polyurethane adhesive can be used to install ETICS plates (External Thermal Insulation Composite System) and insulation panels and drywalls. The high-density formula ensures immediate initial fixing and high adhesion.
The new adhesive allows for instant fixing and is suitable for any climate. Its low expansion facilitates precision during installation. It also allows for maximum performance at a lower cost as well as reducing the use of materials. For example, it can cover up to 16m2 of panels or slabs with one unit.
The new Ecoflex nozzle allows the product to be applied to the more difficult to reach spaces thanks to its flexibility. Its innovative blocking system means that the product can be kept and reused for several days, which also helps to reduce product waste and be more environmentally friendly.
The nozzle is available for the multipurpose foam PU-SC and the fire-resistant foam PU-FC by Index. In addition to this, the Firestop and Tile versions have been added in a nozzle-application format. Both products are available in 750 ml formats.
Previously, Index launched a new design software for calculating wooden structures which allows the user the make calculations for structural fixings on wood with lag screws.
