Heading to Torque-Expo 2016? Here's what you need to know

If you're heading to Torque-Expo 2016 tomorrow or Wednesday, then you're clearly a wise, business-savvy individual. But shameless flattery aside, here's a quick guide to getting the most from the event.

Location - NN12 8TN

It all takes place in the Silverstone Wing of the famous race venue, at Towcester, Northamptonshire, NN12 8TN.

The Silverstone venue is pretty big, so when you're in just follow the signs to the Wing Building.

And if you are whiling away the time as a passenger while your colleague is driving you over, then feel free to give us a tweet using the hashtag #torqueexpo

Opening Times

Tuesday 11th October 2016: 9.30am - 4.30pm
Wednesday 12th October 2016: 9.30 - 4.00pm

Being a wise, business-savvy individual, there's a very good chance you'll already have pre-registered for the show - in which case you will get into the show itself pretty quickly. If you've somehow missed our copious emails and stories encouraging you to pre-register then you can still get in, but it will just take a bit longer to fill in the forms at the registration desk.

FOOD

You've just arrived and you want to be fully geared up for getting the most out of the show, so if that means refuelling and re-caffeinating yourself before you get fully stuck in, you'll need to head to Hall 2 to the catering area. Alternatively, it's a handy spot to stop after smashing through the first Hall.

SHOW-BUSINESS

If you're the super-organised type, you'll probably have already scanned through the Exhibitor List and pin-pointed your must-see/must-schmooze-with businesses.

The exhibitors are spread over two halls and there are exclusive show deals, offers and competitions available from many of them, so we'd very much encourage you to make time to get around all of them so you don't miss out.

SEMINARS & INNOVATIONS

If you are after food for thought, then we've a short, punchy seminar programme running over both days of the show - the first starting at 10.30. Included are presentations on new technology and marketing, so head over to Stand J1 in Hall 2 for those.

If you want to keep up to date with the latest products from the fastener, tool, workwear, adhesives and related industries, then spare a couple of minutes for the Innovation Zone. While there you can take a look at some of the newest products available in the sector and vote for the one that you think rises above the rest. Head to Stand H7 in Hall 2 to get up to speed.

Meet the Torque team

Admittedly this offer will be of limited appeal, but if you want to encounter the Torque team in person then head to Stand K4 in Hall 2 where you will be warmly welcomed. We will be fully prepared to exchange ideas, plans and even try some banter if you're up for it.

We hope this guide will help you get more out of the show. If there's anything else you want to know then head to the official Torque-Expo show site.
