Stuttgart's hb Kompressoren Druckluft- und Industrietechnik GmbH - a distributor and service provider of industrial air compressors and related systems - has been acquired by Atlas Copco.
About 10 employees will join Atlas Copco as a result of the move and will bolster the firm's presence in South West Germany. The business is focused on distribution and service of compressors and air treatment systems for use in such areas as manufacturing and general industry.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price and the acquisition is expected to be completed shortly. The business will become part of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Service division.
