Italian fixing systems manufacturer G&B Fissaggi Group has acquired Aptus Fastener Systems, a UK-based wholesaler of screws and fixings.
Following the acquisition, Aptus will operate as a subsidiary of G&B Fissaggi Group. Integration of the two companies’ operations is expected to be completed by 4 August 2025.
G&B Fissaggi said the move will give customers access to a broader range of construction fixings, better stock availability, and enhanced technical support. As Aptus is recognised as a specialist in timber construction, the acquisition brings added value through its partnerships with leading German brands such as HECO and Pitzl.
Customers in the UK will continue to work with the same Aptus teams, as the company’s leadership and operations are set to remain unchanged. This will ensure continuity of service while allowing customers to benefit from G&B Fissaggi’s European manufacturing scale and R&D capabilities.
