This week’s National Buying Group (NBG) Conference included an awards night to celebrate brands and companies that had contributed to the success of NBG’s merchant partners.
Eight prizes were given out on the night and among the recipients was TI Midwood & Co (TIMco), which beat Ox Group to the NBG Brand of the Year 2017.
Ox narrowly lost out again (coming third) in the Tools & Workwear Supplier of the Year, which was won outright by specialist hand and power tool supplier Toolbank (read our Toolbank Show report here).
Other highlights include Everbuild coming second in the General Build Supplier of the Year category and TIMco’s Simon Rance named as second in NBG’s Account Manager of the Year category.
The National Buying Group (NBG) works with over 80 merchants and over 300 branches, with a £850 turnover. NBG is accredited by NMBS and the BMF.
