TIMco aims to bolster one-stop-shop status with extended SHIELD range

TIMco has extended its SHIELD range of site protection products following high customer demand and to strengthen its position as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for builder’s merchants.

The existing range includes glass, carpet and hard floor films, designed to prevent common trips and slips and TIMco has now added polythene dust sheets to the range as well as cling sheets which cling to surfaces without the need for tape or adhesives. The static sheets attract dust and over-spray, providing protection during decorating and renovation works, especially over difficult to cover objects like fixed cabinets.

The new range also includes general purpose builder’s sheets to provide waterproof protection of materials, plastic cutters to custom cut sheets with tricky dimensions and to avoid wastage, as well as a protective zipper door which provides a transparent, concealed entrance to work areas and strong, durable rubble sacks to help keep work areas clear, to avoid accidents occurring.

For helping to keep things tidy on site and to further avoid mishaps during renovations at home, TIMco has also introduced two types of rubble sacks into the SHIELD range: Heavy duty rubble sacks – manufactured from strong, durable and tear resistant woven polypropylene, reusable sacks available in two sizes which have drawstring tops to keep the rubble secure and the rubble sack rolls of 30 sacks manufactured from recycled polyethylene for general waste on building sites and landscaping work.

“Over the past year, we have seen an increased demand for protective products for use on construction sites and for renovators and that’s why we decided to extend our renowned SHIELD range,” said TIMco MD Simon Midwood. “Extending this range demonstrates how TIMco are meeting demands and becoming a ‘one stop shop’ for builder’s merchants.”

Cleaning aids also feature in the SHIELD range such as the Heavy-Duty builders wipes. Heavy and light duty laminated tarpaulins are also included.
