HEICO Group will showcase its latest innovations at Fastener Fair Global 2025.
The new HEICO-LOCK® reaction washers provide a bolt-locking solution based on the proven two-washer wedge-locking principle. They can be tightened reaction-free using electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic torque tools. These washers combine the benefits of HEICO-LOCK® wedge-lock washers with a reaction-free tightening method, making them ideal for large-bolted joints and serial bolting applications.
Additionally, the reaction washers enable tightening without the need for reaction arms or supporting brackets, ensuring a safer working environment. By using these innovative locking washers, workplace accidents—such as pinched fingers or injuries from slipping tools or unstable temporary brackets—can be prevented.
Another key advantage of these reaction washers is their compatibility with almost any torque tool from leading manufacturers. The dual sockets required for torque tool applications are manufactured by HEICO and are available directly from the company under specific conditions.
Furthermore, HEICO will introduce a new single locking washer designed for use alongside the reaction washers. The HEICO-ONE safety washer prevents rotation of the passive side in through-bolt connections while simultaneously securing the bolted joint. Thanks to the HEICO-ONE safety washer, additional locking with a second wrench or special tools is no longer necessary, eliminating the need for a second operator.
