Major tool distributor Toolbank is operating on an “essentials” basis while the UK has lockdown measures in place related to the coronavirus pandemic.
Toolbank stressed that the restricted service is not business as usual, limited by essential operating procedures to protect the health and safety of volunteer staff.
The UK government confirmed home and hardware stores were essential retailers and could remain open throughout the lockdown.
Toolbank said reduced teams would be providing customers who supply front-line services with the support and products they require.
Wayne Flory, Chief Executive, said: “We look forward to being able to service your regular requirements as soon as the government makes it clear that it is safe for us to do so and, once again, wish you and your families well at this most difficult of times.”
The Dormole group of companies includes Toolbank, ForgeFix ,Olympia Tools and Biz Tools, with a sizeable stake in Harrison & Clough.
