Effective since January 31st of this year, Ohio-based National Threaded Fasteners (NTF) has been purchased by wholesaler Earnest Machine.
According to a letter sent out by NTF to its customers, the owners of both companies have been friends for years, with the timing now right to make this transition.
Earnest will continue to deliver products and services purchased from NTF by its customers. The wholesaler will be closing NTF's facility in Perry, Ohio, today (12th February) and will move the inventory and operations to Earnest facilities in Indianapolis and Atlanta between 13-19 February.
NTF's Kathy Marazzi and Niki Muenz will continue to work with Earnest and support the transition.
Earnest Machine's January distribution performance report revealed the firm has exceeded it Part Accuracy (99.99%) and On-Time Delivery (97.79%) goals, and has met its Quantity Accuracy goal of 99.96%. Order Entry Accuracy remains under goal by .20 at 99.73%.
Effective from 13th February, all phone calls and emails to NTF will be automatically forwarded. From this date, all POs should be issued to Earnest Machine, while invoices dated 12th February and prior should be remitted to NTF.
