International wood screw and power tool accessory distributor, Reisser, has become the latest supplier to join the National Merchant Buying Society's (NMBS) Professional Points scheme.
Through NMBS' loyalty scheme, Professional Points, merchant members receive a point for every £10 spent with participating suppliers which can be redeemed online for more than 100 products, including electrical items, power tool accessories, hardware products and sporting equipment. Once points have been redeemed for products, they will be delivered directly to the members.
Around 800 members have already signed up to the scheme, which is exclusively available as a benefit to NMBS members.
Reisser becomes the seventh supplier to sign up to the scheme, joining other leading brands including Makita, Spear & Jackson, ITP, Methven, Redring Xpelair and Midland Lead.
NMBS Sales & Marketing Manager, Dean Hayward, said: "We are thrilled that Reisser has decided to join the NMBS Professional Points scheme. Professional Points is just one of the many exclusive benefits available to NMBS merchant members, and having Reisser as participating supplier gives them even more opportunities to claim something back."
Reisser’s Chairman, Charles Ledigo, added: "NMBS has a great team and they’re very important to us, so we were delighted to be asked to join the Professional Points scheme, especially as only one company is accepted to represent each product category. We see it as another unique sales point that we can offer our customers, and one that brings added benefits to builders’ merchants."
Aiming to achieve a turnover of £3 billion within five years, senior members of the NMBS team revealed how the buying society intends to ‘automate and innovate’ to build on its success, at the NMBS Conference last year.
