Johan Sandberg has been recruited as Global Business Development Director at Bufab, where he has also become a new member of the Executive Management Team.
Sandberg will take up his new position by January 2019, replacing Urban Bülow, who has relocated to the US to accelerate Bufab’s expansion in North America.
Sandberg has a M Sc degree in Business Administration from Linköping University in Sweden. He has had a long and successful leadership career in large industrial companies, including Volvo Powertrain and Volvo Aero, and most recently was the Senior Vice President in charge of the Tail Lift Division in Cargotec/Hiab. Bufab said the move plays into its "Leadership" ambition to reach its more ambitious growth target. Bufab aims to be the preferred partner in our industry by 2020.
