Tool and fastener companies have earned innovation award nominations ahead of this year's International Hardware Fair (Eisenwarenmesse) at Cologne.
12 nominees have been picked out from 59 entries, which came from 48 different companies.
The nominees in the category of Corporate Social Responsibility are:

The awards will be presented at the Theatre am Tanzbrunnen during the show.
The jury of the EISEN CSR Award, powered by BHB (Federal Association of the German DIY, Building and Garden Specialist Stores), comprised of Andreas Back (Hornbach-Baumarkt AG/Quality Management, Environment & CSR Director), Dr. Joachim Bengelsdorf (Dähne Verlag/Chief Editor), Joanna Behrend (GS1/Junior Manager Sustainability) and Jana Stange (BHB/Product Compliance, Environment & CSR Division Director).
The jury responsible for selecting the nominees of the EISEN Innovation Award 2018 powered by ZHH (Central Association of the Hardware Trade), was made up of Josef Bröckling (Ullner & Ullner GmbH/Executive Director), Stefan Buhren (Deutsches Handwerksblatt/Chief Correspondent), Dr.-Peter Dültgen (Industrial Engineer, Research Council Tools & Materials e.V.
(FGW)/Executive Director), Ralf Hoppen (Hoppen Innenausbau GmbH/Crafts Code Works Management), Markus Lutz (Eduard Lutz Schrauben-Werkzeuge GmbH/Executive Director), Fritz Weg (Fritz Weg GmbH & Co KG/Executive Director) and Prof. Matthias Schönherr (Bergische University of Wuppertal).
