The world's largest hardware retailer has seen sales grow 6.9% to $94.6 billion in fiscal year 2016.
Store sales for The Home Depot were up 5.6% while comp sales for US stores were at 6.2% for the year.
Numbers up for Q4
Q4 2016 sales reached $22.2 billion, up 5.8% compared to Q4 2015. Store sales were at 5.8%, while comp sales for US stores reached 6.3%.
"Our focus on providing localised and innovative product selection, improving the interconnected customer experience, and driving productivity resulted in record sales and net earnings for 2016," said Craig Menear, chairman, CEO and president.
"Our associates responded to a healthy housing market and strong customer demand, and I'd like to thank them for their execution, hard work and continued dedication to our customers."
This year the retailer is planning six new stores, sales growth of 4.6% and comparable store sales growth (also) of 4.6%.
