Yorkshire's Cirteq acquired by Titgemeyer

As of August this year, Cirteq has become part of the Titgemeyer Group.

Based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, Cirteq manufactures circlips, retaining rings, snap-rings and custom designs for global manufacturers and automotive companies.

With roots that stretch back over 75 years, Cirteq produces its own wire and tooling, has a 3,700 product range and supplies automotive manufacturers, industry, line-feeders and distributors.

Cirteq said: "As part of this highly successful group which currently operates throughout Europe,there will be new opportunities for business growth benefiting our global automotive and commercial vehicle customers, together with all our general global industrial base customers.

"The products within the Titgemeyer Group ideally complement and expand Cirteq's existing product range."

Headquartered in Osnabrück, Germany, Titgemeyer is a third generation family business. It generated €100 million in sales globally in 2017 and has facilities throughout Europe - including two sites in the UK; Baker and Finnemore in Birmingham, producing Starlock push-on fasteners and Starpress pressings; and in Tipton, producing lockbolts.
