VVG announces changes in management, Honsel turns 90

Riveting and fastening specialist VVG has announced its General Manager, Frank-Michael Struck, has retired after 16 years in the role.

The firm also declared several new appointments to its management structure.

Alexander Siefert, who came on-board with the company in the middle of 2019, has been appointed the sole new Managing Director since 1st January 2020.

Meanwhile, Timm Salkowski takes over the management of the Neumünster location with responsibility for technology and development, workshop, logistics, purchasing and commercial control.

Additionally, Julian von Bismarck will be responsible for all sales activities nationally and internationally.

VVG said of Siefert's appointment: "We are convinced that Mr Siefert, with his industry knowledge and the colleagues who have been part of VVG for years, will continue our success story with the well-known and experienced team and look forward to further good cooperation."

In other news, part of the group of companies, Honsel, turns 90 this year, laying the 'foundation stone' for the company's present day development and production of high-quality fasteners in 1930.
