PSM's CEO steps down following Bulten's acquisition

Earlier this year, Bulten acquired PSM International and expanded its manufacturing facility in Taiwan. Following the integration of PSM International, PSM’s CEO Marco Suzuki has chosen to leave his position. Bulten's President and CEO Anders Nyström will be taking over the management of PSM until a new management structure is in place.

Nyström commented on the change in management and said: “Marco Suzuki has, since taking over as CEO of PSM in 2018, in an excellent way led PSM to the profitable company it is today. We thank Marco for his efforts and begin the next phase in PSM’s strategic development in the Bulten Group”.

After obtaining PSM Taiwan in February, Bulten has predominantly focused on producing machined, smaller dimension fasteners for automotive and non-automotive customers. In addition to increasing efficiency and employee satisfaction, PSM Taiwan plans to move its operations from its current location to the new site approximately 30 minutes away.

The larger facility will allow for the company to in-source a share of the components that are purchased from suppliers and utilise PSM Taiwan for production in connection with new contracts.

Bulten has also seen further changes with the recruitment of Emmy Pavlovic as the company’s new Senior Vice President Technology and Innovation. Pavlovic is set to join the company on 15 December or earlier.
