MacDermid Enthone appoints new Director of Sustainable Excellence

MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions has announced the appointment of Jonathan Timms to the role of Director of Sustainable Excellence.

With over 30 years in the surface finishing industry, Timms brings extensive experience, expertise and knowledge to the role. His career in the industry has seen him hold a variety of positions in technical, marketing and business management roles, including time in surface finishing plant design and manufacture. Timms most recently held the position of Director of Marketing and Strategic Accounts in Asia.

In his new role, Timms will work as part of the product marketing team to develop and drive the strategy of the Sustainable Excellence program, implementing this into the MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions organisation. Timm's skills, leadership and experience will be critical to reach MacDermid Enthone's goal to become the leader in sustainability in its chosen markets and end user applications.

Commenting on his appointment Timms said, "I am very excited about being offered the opportunity of director of sustainable excellence for MacDermid Enthone. We will be focusing on developing the next generation of sustainable processes to help reduce water and energy consumption. Additionally, we will be offering innovative new techniques, which both reduce effluent discharge, and material that typically goes to landfill."
