Silicon Valley's Guy Kawasaki to keynote STAFDA 2020

Bestselling author, evangelist, podcaster and entrepreneur, Guy Kawasaki, has been announced as the keynote speaker for the Specialty Tools and Fastener Distributors Association's (STAFDA) convention and trade show this year.

The members-only event will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, between 8-10 November.

Kawasaki is widely respected as a source of wisdom on entrepreneurship, venture capital, marketing, and business evangelism, having written titles such as 'The Art of the Start 2.0', 'The Art of Social Media', and 'Enchantment' as well as 12 other books.

Kawasaki is currently the Chief Evangelist of Australian-based online graphic design service, Canva, the brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz, an adjunct professor at the University of New South Wales, and an executive fellow of the Haas School of Business.

Kawasaki began his entrepreneurial career at Apple as a Chief Evangelist, and has since been a special advisor to the CEO of Google's Motorola division and appointed to the board of trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation.

His keynote address to STAFDA members will be based on one of his books 'Enchantment', the goal of which is not merely to get what you want, but to bring about a 'voluntary, enduring and delightful' change in other people. STAFDA members will learn how to frame a cause others can embrace by changing hearts, minds, and actions.

Online registration for STAFDA's 44th Convention and Trade Show opens on Monday 29th June from the members-only section of the website, with registration materials mailed to members in late June.
