fischer pledges €20,000 to Notre Dame reconstruction

Products and services worth €20,000 have been pledged by fischer in the reconstruction and repair of the fire damaged Notre-Dame de Paris.

90% of the artworks and relics were saved from the major fire on 15 April 2019, which saw more than 600 firefighters battle the blaze. However the full extent of the damage to the Paris cathedral has yet to be ascertained.

fischer boss and owner Professor Klaus Fischer, via the French national society of fischer, has offered the support which has been approved by the French Ministry of Culture, the body responsible for the reconstruction.

"A building with this world-historical significance has an extraordinary cultural value," said Prof Klaus Fischer. "I am pleased to be able to contribute to the rapid reconstruction of the cathedral of Notre-Dame."
