Bülte 3D part drawing downloads hit 60 million in 1 month

Bülte’s customers have responded to its revamped online offering in spectacular fashion, with double the number of 3D part drawing downloads since the firm updated its online strategy…

Despite having the global pandemic in the background, Bülte has continued to keep on pushing the boundaries of its activities and services forward.

Having been particularly active in the past two years, the company has challenged itself by undertaking crucial project developments such as new products conception and the launch of its online 3D product catalogue. Specialising in plastic, plastometallic protective and fastening parts, Bülte continues to focus on advancing its engineering efficiency while improving its digital experience.

Adapting during the pandemic

At a time of global change where companies had to adapt to new ways of working and communicating, Bülte quickly adapted its online strategy by investing into a more innovative online product catalogue. With the implementation of instant 3D downloads, the company allows its customers to integrate these downloads into their design plans as soon as they are conceived. Partners have confirmed the new tool’s expertise: from the beginning of the year to summer 2020, the number of downloads of 3D part drawings have increased tremendously – in fact doubled, amounting to more than 60 million downloads in one month.

Although Bülte’s French site was partly closed for three months, with sales teams working from home, the company kept on shipping goods to its loyal customers and production sustained, albeit at a slower pace. Outside the French borders, the German branch remained open throughout, with new hygiene rules and protective barriers in force. Needless to say, the worldwide crisis has brought the company and its customers closer, while forcing both parties to comply with challenges and new strategies.

The search for innovation is at the heart of Bülte, which is constantly developing new state‐of‐the‐art products – not least the recent launch of Bülte’s new locking and sealing washers, Plastomet, and the recent range of its flexible and protective caps. Yet to come, the firm will be launching a brand‐new range of fasteners, in a material never used before. To be continued…
