Lumileds has launched the new Philips EcoPro range of LED work lights. Equipped with high-quality LEDs and hands-free features, the EcoPro range also provides powerful bright light (6,500 K) to get the job done, making the lamps perfect for everyday use in automotive workshops.

The Philips EcoPro50 provides a portable and powerful rechargeable projector lamp, which lights up large dark areas when working on vehicles. The EcoPro50 highly durable lamp has a long lasting battery providing up to six hours of continuous use. Delivering up to 1,000 lumen (10W) in boost mode, it gives off a super wide beam of consistently bright light. If more battery life is
required, simply switch to a 500 lumen (5W) Eco mode, there is also a battery life indicator that shows exactly how long before a recharge is necessary. It comes with a magnetic mounting accessory and is proven to survive a drop from height, or an unexpected drop into water.

The Philips EcoPro40 work lamp provides a powerful bright light for everyday use, with a non-slip grip and a powerful main beam of up to 300 lumen (3W). The Philips EcoPro20 is a small rechargeable work lamp that slips easily into a pocket. Fitted with hands-free features, it is perfect for quick inspection jobs, when working in a garage.

As a leading lighting solutions company for the automotive industry, Lumileds is licensed to use the Philips brand for its automotive lighting and accessories product portfolio.

Headquartered in Hampshire, England, Nightsearcher specialises in the design and manufacture of LED lighting solutions. Headed by Managing Director Colin Howard, who designed his first range of specialist lighting products in 1989, Nightsearcher lighting solutions are today distributed in over 30 countries, including portable LED floodlights, work lights, searchlights, flashlights, and area lights as well as more specialist products such as inspection lights, hazard lights and ATEX/intrinsically safe lights for hazardous industries.

NightSearcher has recently introduced the new Zoom range; its most advanced range of spot-to-flood flashlights and head torches yet. The Zoom flashlight range includes two rechargeable models (110 and 1,000 lumens) and two battery operated flashlights (370 and 500 lumens). All Zoom flashlights feature an easily operated spot-to-flood function: slide the head of the flashlight outwards for a super bright concentrated spot beam, and slide it back towards the body of the flashlight for a wide flood beam. The Zoom flashlight body has a secure grip pattern that makes it easy to handle, and the Type III hard anodised aluminium housing is built to last in the most extreme of conditions. Light modes are easily changed from the tail cap tactical switch.

Ring, the automotive aftermarket and workshop lighting expert, has launched a new slim line inspection lamp to help technicians get light into even the narrowest gaps in the engine bay.
The RIL3800HP MAGflex Slim is just 15mm thick, meaning that it can get light into even the hardest to reach spots, as well as providing broad illumination for the entire engine bay. The latest addition to the award-winning MAGflex range, it features chip-on-board (COB) 3W LEDs that emit up to 250 lumens, ideal for providing light in dark work areas. The lamp’s white colour temperature – 6,000K – provides a comfortable working light for technicians, and it includes a torch for a focused beam, making it ideal for detailed work. The MAGflex Slim also has a magnet or hands-free use, and a 180° ratchet to position light where you need it. It is rechargeable and cordless, with an operating time of up to five hours.

For technicians, it’s essential that workshop equipment is resilient enough to be used all day, every day, in a demanding garage environment. Therefore, Ring extensively tests all its products in its on-site ISO:9001-accredited Quality Assurance facilities, to ensure that they perform to the high standard needed by its customers.
