REYHER wins CLAAS service category supplier award

REYHER has been presented with the Supplier of the Year Award in the service category by the CLAAS Group.

The award was announced during Supplier Day 2020 at Harsewinkel in Eastern Westphalia, and was awarded to REYHER by Rüdiger Mohr, Head of Group Purchasing at CLAAS KGaA.

CLAAS, an internationally-active agricultural machinery manufacturer, honoured REYHER with the award, "for striving onwards to develop further and its continuous efforts to improve together."

REYHER was praised for its 'consistently high' performance and for its delivery to CLAAS' main production site for harvesting machines in Harsewinkel.

At the end of 2015, as part of CLAAS Group's C-part management, REYHER took over Kanban suppliers of fasteners and fixing technology at two production sites initially, with other locations added later.

This is the second CLAAS Supplier of the Year Awards REYHER has won within five years, with the Hamburg-based supplier receiving the first award in 2017.

For Kanban solutions, REYHER relies on its modular Reyher Order Management system (ROM), which ensures supply and process security in companies while simultaneously reducing procurement costs and sources of error. The solutions are customised to the actual situation on the ground and the company's structure.

At CLAAS, a tailor-made ROM solution has been implemented; fine-tuning the supply schedule and data flow are automated via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
