Torque Magazine is searching for the fastener & tool industry's rising stars

Torque Magazine is compiling names for a special new feature rounding-up younger up-and-coming executives in the fastener and tool industries.

Whether they work in the warehouse, or are part of the sales force, part of the technical team or a different part of the business, Torque Rising Stars will highlight fresh-faced talent in the fastener and tool industries, across wholesalers, distributor, manufacturers, service providers and more.

Now we need your help to put together the 2021 Torque Rising Stars list.

How to nominate:

Simply send us a high res photo of the candidate, their job title and role, plus a short explanation of why they have been put forward.

Nominees must be under 40 years of age (given sufficient demand we may run a '40 over 40' list later in the year!). Send your nominations to jonathon@torque-expo.com by 20th August 2021.

"One of the long term challenges of just about every industry - including the fastener and tool sector - is bringing in new talent," explained Torque Magazine Editor Jonathon Harker. "There's a well publicised skills shortage in the construction sector, among others, and it is tough for businesses - particularly small and medium enterprises - to ensure new recruits are ready to learn and eventually take over from experienced personnel as they retire. These are some of the reasons that we've begun running regular features like our 'Apprentice Q&A', launched earlier this year, to highlight and support best practice. Torque Rising Stars is another humble initiative where we highlight up and coming talents in the fastener and tool industries - perhaps who will go on to become the future CEOs, directors, disruptors and head honchos of the market."
