Deutsche Messe and long-term partner Donghao Lansheng Group are to launch two new industry fairs in southern and western China.
2020 will see the two new fairs take place; the South China International Industry Fair (SCIIF) in Shenzhen in June and the Chengdu International Industry Fair (CDIIF) in April.
Deutsche Messe and state-owned Donghao Lansheng Group have run the China International Industry Fair (CIIF) for almost 13 years and in addition to the two new announced events, more are in the works, they revealed.
Deutsche Messe is the organiser of the huge Hannover Messe show, the trade fair for industrial technology, among others.
“This partnership bundles our competences in order to expand our industry network and regional coverage. Donghao Lansheng Group is now one of our most important strategic partners in China. Together we are promoting the transformation and further modernization of China’s manufacturing sector,” said Arno Reich, Senior Vice President Industry, Energy, Logistics at Deutsche Messe. “Now we offer further international, cross-industry platforms for cutting-edge technologies. This not only helps foreign companies expand in the Chinese market, but also supports China’s manufacturing companies with globalization.”
“The China International Industry Fair is China’s most influential international industrial fair and an important platform for close cooperation between German Industrie 4.0 and Chinese ‘Intelligent Manufacturing’,” added Tang Guifa, vice president of Donghao Lansheng Group. “Together with Deutsche Messe, we have set up an experienced team as well as networks in politics and industry so that we can jointly develop the Chinese market.”
