Dudley-based fastener distributor Martyn Price Fasteners celebrated its 50 year anniversary in early February.
The firm marked its five decade anniversary with the launch of a revamped trade counter, as well as activities on the day itself (Friday 4 February) including a balloon arch and ‘Martyn Price’ theme cupcakes.
Martyn Price now stocks a wider selection of trade goods from its 40,000ft² warehouse. Sealants, drywall fixings, drill bits and wipes are among the additional ranges the firm now stocks alongside the extensive range of fasteners Martyn Price is best known for.
Sales Director Carly Pearson [pictured left with General Manager Gary McCauley] told Torque Magazine: “We decided to launch a trade counter for a few reasons. Firstly, it makes the collection area look smarter. It also offers complementary products to our existing stock range, and it will be another source of revenue from local passing trade. We have had a credit card machine installed to make transactions quick and easy.”
Pearson also explained that the firm has been working on our brand new website, which is now online and includes a live chat feature for enquiries.
There will be more on Martyn Price Fasteners in the April-May edition of Torque Magazine.
