Dremel launches portable saw station and drill

Dremel has launched two products for household users, including a portable saw station and a drill.

The products are part of the company’s Blueprint line of tools. The Dremel Blueprint Portable Saw Station’s compact size allows for easy storage without compromising functionality. It delivers the versatile cutting power of a standard circular saw and enables precise mitre cuts.

Comparable with traditional mitre and circular saw, the portable saw can cut the most common DIY project materials such as vinyl flooring. It can also visualise cuts instantly with integrated alignment laser. This handy feature ensures users get a quality cut every time, minimising errors and maximising efficiency.

Cordless and rechargeable, the Portable Saw Station comes with cutting guides, material supports and clamps.

The Compact Portable Saw without the Portable Saw Station is also sold separately as model CS12V-S1.

Aside from the saw station, Dremel’s Blueprint Multi-Drill boasts 12V brushless power, enabling users to handle hanging, mounting and fastening projects. The tool also combines a detachable laser level, a built-in stud finder and a bubble level to make every project precise and hassle-free.

The detachable laser, paired with reusable mounting putty, ensures alignment for tasks like hanging artwork or setting up a home theatre. The built-in stud finder takes the guesswork out of drilling, making it simple to mount shelves, hang gallery walls or install TVs securely. The bubble level ensures every installation is straight, eliminating crooked shelves and tilted frames.

“We’ve looked at the projects our users are doing and designed Dremel Blueprint tools to provide people with what they need to accomplish those projects. Dremel has been in business for over 90 years, and we…can assist our users with their projects better than anyone,” said Sonesh Shah, president of Dremel.
