Anglia Tool Centre expands with hat-trick of new stores

Power Tool specialist Anglia Tool Centre has opened two new showrooms in Birmingham and one in Oxford, bringing the retailer’s total up to eight.

The two new Birmingham area stores opened their doors at the start of June in Oldbury and Brierley Hill. Both feature a test centre in-store for customers to try out power tools before buying.

The new Brierley Hill branch is Anglia Tool Centre’s largest showroom yet, with 2,500 sq ft of space, with an extended range of power tools and accessories as well as a new lightside range including fixings, sealants and more. It will also be a Trend Gold Router Centre and will incorporate the new range of Ox Hand Tools – a first for the firm. The Oldbury Showroom has 2,500 sq ft of space.

Meanwhile in May, Anglia Tool Centre opened for business in Oxford, also featuring a showroom where customers can try out power tools, from Impact Drivers to SDS Drills.

Anglia Tool Centre first opened in Bury St Edmunds in 2006 and is a division of the Ridgeon group, part of one the largest independent family owned timber and builders merchant in the country.
