NoWorkMates.com launches for the self-employed

In response to the numbers of self-employed individuals soaring – now just under five million in the UK – NoWorkMates.com has launched.

The site was set up as a community where members can register their business and ask questions and be helped by other self-employed or freelance workers.

The site was set up in June this year and maps its members into a searchable database, enabling users to search for local contacts or wider afield if needs be.

A press statement from the site said: “This growing army of self-employed/contractors/sole traders are woefully disconnected.  NoWorkMates.com aims to break that social isolation and connect for growth.”
