WEICONLOCK

Weicon

German manufacturer Weicon offers a line of anaerobic adhesives and sealants that can be used in many industrial sectors: Weiconlock. These products not only lock or secure screw connections, but they are also suitable for fixing cylindrical joints or for sealing flanges and threaded pipes and fittings.

One example is Weiconlock AN 306-38. It retains cylindrical assemblies for bearings, gear wheels and bolts. AN 306-38 has a medium viscosity, a high strength and is hard to disassemble.

Weiconlock products are anaerobic adhesives and sealants that differ in strength, temperature resistance or viscosity. These adhesives are liquid plastics that harden in the absence of air. They are easy and fast to apply and economical in use. At room temperature, the products cure to handling strength within a few minutes and to final strength within a few hours.

The products of the Weiconlock line are resistant to changing temperatures, chemicals and solvents as well as to high vibration and impact.

Bond It

As seen at Totally DIY & Tools and NMBS, Bond It has a brand new fibre reinforced, high strength, instant grab adhesive, Incredibond. It can be used with impressive results on wood, OSB, chipboard, concrete, plaster, mortar, ceramic, metal, uPVC and most plastics.

Incredibond also benefits from a formulation which allows it to deliver performance to match solvent-based adhesives despite being solvent free, making it more environmentally responsible and more user-friendly, with no VOC emissions and a low odour.

Also new from Bond It is the ‘Squeezies’ range, allowing end users to benefit from some of Bond It’s most popular products – including the manufacturer’s ‘Saves Nails’ adhesive, Flexible Filler, Door & Window Sealant and Bathroom & Kitchen Sealant – in convenient, squeezable plastic tubes.
